Nationwide | Direct Mail
In the competitive auto insurance market, Nationwide needed a way to not only compete, but stand out against the GEICOs and Progressives of the world. Several concepts were tested and the approach that worked best was a simple direct mail letter with plain, straightforward language. The copy had to do all the heavy lifting. These letters were written using persuasive, scannable copy, and multiple calls to action. Each mailing built on the previous one and four control packages were born.​​​​​​​
